This Friday I had the pleasure of spending the day with our resident photographer and Peeping Tom, Mr Edge. Many laughs were had and we even got to see a car full of chavs try to show off for us with a cheeky pull of the handbrake when they drove past. Talking of special people I got the piss taken out of me for washing my car with a sponge instead of some kind of fancy mitten, who knew a gritty sponge and fairy liquid is apparently bad form for washing a car, he was lucky I even made that much of an effort!
Eventually we took the Capri out to find spots ideal for pictures and burnouts (’cause I’m childish like that) and this was the result…

The pictures are for his FMP Project so that’s why you got a lovely picture of me looking like a gimp sat on my wing; for some reason he didn’t want me to lie across the bonnet in a suggestive pose like I suggested. You can see more of his work on his site or photo blog and hopefully we will have more photoshoots from him soon!

Some good photography going on here, I once did a shoot very similar influenced from Martin Parr – From A to B Tales of Modern Motoring, which is basically a book on people and their cars from the late 80s/early 90′s. He shows a slim line of difference between cars and their owners, and it shows it here. You suit the car down to the ground, your style in life is influenced on your car.
Anyways, Good work Tom, and awesome looking car Joe

I remember the name Martin Parr, I think I did a project on him in college! Do you have the book? I’d love to have a look!
